Did you know that one of the 7 Wonders of the World is in Bodrum? Of course, I’m talking about the Halicarnassus Mausoleum. Known to have been built in 350 BC and known as the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, the Tomb of King Mausolus was preserved until the 16th century, but was destroyed during the Crusades. The besiegers use the stones they bought from here in the construction of Bodrum Castle. The museum, where you can see many remains of the mausoleum today, is only 250 m from the port.
Düden waterfalls are two in number, Upper and Lower Düden, which are formed by the division of the Düden Stream, from which they got their name, into two branches. Upper Duden stays in the northern part of the city and is 10 km away from the center of Antalya. The waterfall is 22 meters high, there are caves behind it, it is a recreation area around it. Lower Duden; Karpuzkaldıran or the shore is also called Düden. It is 20 km away from the city center. It pours into the Mediterranean from 40 meters high cliffs. It has a magnificent postcard view. Düden waterfalls are one of the unique natural wonders and symbols of Antalya.
Tünektepe Cable Car (Antalya Cable Car): It goes up to the hill at a height of 605 meters. It has magnificent Antalya city, new harbor and Mediterranean view. You can enjoy the view and sip your tea in the cafe on the hill.
